Well, vacation just flew by and it's time to start packing.  : (  I can't believe this is day six and it's time to head on back to Madtown.  Oh well, life is Texas was good, but hotter than hell.

First, we headed over to the Bedford City pool.  Very nice to cool off on the 90+ degree day.  They have a nice pool too. I 'm envisioning it being something like the Goodman Pool in Madison (I've never been there).

Then we headed down to the Stock Yards in Ft. Worth.  We've been there before which is actually why we decided to go again.  We wanted to get another picture of ourselves in front of this huge cattle herding statue.  The thing in monsterous and we both really like it.  So, we found it and some folks from Waco took the picture for us.

We then watched the "cattle stampede" through the streets of Ft. Worth and then on to Armadillo hunting.  More on "Harry" later... gotta pack!
